The tradition of MAKÜFEST has been carried to a new excitement with ÜNİFEST 2026.

The events traditionally organized by Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University as MAKÜFEST are being held this year under the name ÜNİFEST. The festival started with colorful scenes and a large turnout. The festival, held between May 6-8, 2026, offers a full program where students can both relax and have fun.

The opening of the festival took place on Wednesday, May 6, at 16:00 at the İstiklal Campus. MAKÜ Rector Hüseyin Dalgar, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Dr. Enes Eminoğlu, General Director of Youth Services Enes Efendioğlu, and the university administration attended the opening program. Protocol members toured the student community stands set up in the festival area and participated in the events.

The Hıdırellez tradition was also kept alive at the opening. Participants jumped over the lit fire and tied their wishes to the wishing tree. One of the most notable events of the day was the tug-of-war competition held between students and the management team. The competition, which was full of colorful moments, was won by the MAKÜ management team.

MAKÜ thrilled with Sinan Akçıl

Students who enjoyed themselves with music throughout the day experienced unforgettable moments with DJ Evren Kaya and Sinan Akçıl, who took the stage in the evening. The concerts held at the Amphitheater took the festival's energy to its peak. Sinan Akçıl's stage performance received great acclaim, while fireworks displays and fire shows marked the night.

After the concerts, plaques and flowers were presented to artist Sinan Akçıl and DJ Evren Kaya by Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar as a token of appreciation.

On the second day of the festival, Limonika at 13:00, İmza at 17:30, and İlgisiz Minör concerts at 21:00 will meet with the audience.

On the final day, awards will find their owners

The last day of the festival, May 8, brings together competition and entertainment. At 11:00, award-winning competitions, at 13:30 TMDK Concert, at 15:45 the Award Ceremony where achievements within the scope of the festival will be crowned, and at 16:00 Histeri Concert will take place.

Throughout the three-day ÜNİFEST, students will continue to experience the festival excitement with various events ranging from music to entertainment.
